Mobile medical unit provides health screenings in Nakučane, Serbia

A mobile medical unit, organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia and implemented by the Šabac Health Center, provided medical examinations to residents of Nakučane and surrounding villages. The fully equipped vehicle, featuring ultrasound and EKG capabilities, allowed citizens to receive check-ups without the need for prior appointments, referrals, or health insurance cards.

This initiative aims to increase healthcare accessibility for elderly populations and residents in remote rural areas. Between May and July, the Šabac Health Center conducted various preventive screenings in rural areas, including general internal medicine and abdominal ultrasounds, serving hundreds of citizens.
