Mobility46 launches digital platform for EV charging and parking
Swedish company Mobility46 has introduced a new digital service designed to streamline the search for parking and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Presented at the Stockholm E-Mobility Summit, the platform allows drivers to instantly find available parking, including charging options, at residential or workplace locations.
The service aggregates listings from various property owners, parking operators, and municipalities into a single interface. According to CEO Johannes Asp, the goal is to create a centralized marketplace similar to the real estate site Hemnet, where users can view availability and prices and enter agreements directly without needing to know the specific owner or management system of the space.
Mobility46 aims to reduce vacancy rates for parking and charging infrastructure by simplifying the connection process for property owners. The company utilizes existing registers, such as those maintained by the Swedish Energy Agency, to automate the inventory of public charging stations and integrate them into the platform.
