Mobix Labs secures first production order for F-16 components
Mobix Labs (NASDAQ: MOBX) has secured its initial production order for components supporting the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The order was placed by a veteran-owned U.S. aerospace sustainment contractor that supports the U.S. Air Force F-16 fleet.
The contract involves EMI-filtered connectors manufactured by the company’s EMI Solutions unit at its military-approved facility in Irvine, California. These connectors are designed to protect electronic systems from electromagnetic interference in integrated environments involving radar, communications, and navigation.
Initial shipments have already been delivered, with the remaining balance scheduled for delivery in the coming weeks. This development follows significant growth in the company’s defense portfolio, including a reported fivefold increase in component orders for the F-22 Raptor program. Mobix Labs also provides components for the F-35 Lightning II, F/A-18 Super Hornet, and various helicopter and naval systems.
Following the announcement, Mobix Labs shares saw a significant rally in morning trade.
