Moby and Jacob Lusk release official version of ‘Natural Blues’

Moby and vocalist Jacob Lusk have released an official version of ‘Natural Blues (TECIE)’, a new arrangement of the classic track. The release, issued by Defected Records, follows a viral performance by the duo at Coachella 2026.

The new version features credits to Moby, Jacob Lusk, BLOND:ISH, and Kiko Franco. It reimagines the original 1999 track, which was built on Vera Hall’s 1937 recording ‘Trouble So Hard’. The single has already seen significant success, with a remix hitting number one on Beatport’s House chart and accumulating over 10 million streams.

In addition to the studio release, the duo performed the updated arrangement live at London’s Old Royal Naval College on August 15, 2026, as part of the Labyrinth ‘On The Thames’ open-air series. The performance follows a series of high-profile appearances for Moby throughout the summer.
