mObywatel app's mStłuczka feature reaches one-year milestone

The mStłuczka feature within the mObywatel application has completed its first year of operation in Poland. According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, over 25,630 collision statements have been completed through the digital service, with approximately 24,840 of those documents including attached photographs.

The digital tool allows drivers involved in minor collisions to record statements without calling the police, provided there are no injuries and both parties agree on the circumstances. The system automatically verifies driver's licenses and insurance policies, reducing the risk of missing critical information or making manual errors.

To use the service, one participant selects the role of the victim while the other selects the perpetrator. The victim generates a QR code for the perpetrator to scan, linking their accounts. The digital statement holds the same legal weight as a paper document and allows the victim to report the damage directly to their insurer.
