Moc Chau launches initiative to develop green and civilized national tourism area

Son La Province authorities have launched a movement to develop the Moc Chau National Tourism Area into a “Green-Clean-Beautiful-Civilized” destination. The initiative aims to leverage the region's natural landscapes, climate, and unique ethnic cultural identity to strengthen its position in both domestic and international tourism markets.

During the launch event, Ha Trung Chien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Son La Provincial People's Committee, called on local authorities, organizations, and businesses to prioritize environmental protection, cultural preservation, and service quality. Key objectives include ensuring food safety, maintaining security and order, and promoting responsible tourism practices. The movement also serves as preparation for the upcoming 2026 Moc Chau Culture and Tourism Week.
