Moca Chain mainnet launches to manage decentralized digital identity

The Moca Foundation and Moca Network have launched the Moca Chain mainnet, a decentralized blockchain designed to manage digital identities. The network allows users and AI agents to carry verified credentials, such as KYC status or membership details, across different applications without repeatedly sharing sensitive underlying documents.

By decoupling verification from data storage, the system enables organizations to issue tamper-resistant credentials that users control. This model aims to reduce the privacy risks and high costs associated with fragmented data custody. Animoca Brands' flagship project is pairing the blockchain with AIR, a product layer that provides businesses with a single integration point for onboarding, global payouts, and loyalty programs.

Several partners have already been named for integration, including SK Planet, Automobili Lamborghini, OneFootball, and Nansen.
