Dryxio's Triple GTA Mod Lets Players Swap Between Three Games

A modder known as Dryxio has created a technical demonstration that runs three Grand Theft Auto titles simultaneously. Using portals built with the fan‑reimplemented engines re3 and reVC, a live texture shows GTA Vice City inside GTA 3, which itself runs inside GTA San Andreas. Players can shoot through or walk into the portals, instantly switching control from CJ to Claude to Tommy Vercetti while each game continues its own AI, physics and mission progress.

The mod shares a single Direct3D device across the three processes, allowing bullets and vehicles to cross between worlds. Each title retains independent save files and settings. Dryxio posted a video of the demo on 22 July 2026 and announced that the mod will be released on his GitHub repository soon, requiring owners to provide their own game files.
