Modders Merge Three GTA Games and Add New Characters to Super Smash Bros

A community developer known as DryxioGTA released a portal‑based mod that runs Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas simultaneously within a single PC process. The three games share a Direct3D device, and live GPU textures act as portals that let players switch between titles or fire bullets across them while each world continues to run its own AI, traffic and physics.

Separately, the fan‑made Smash Remix project for the Nintendo 64 version of Super Smash Bros. received a major roster expansion. The update adds characters such as Birdo, Snake, Knuckles, Ryu, Ken, Mr. Game & Watch and Spider‑Man, allowing the classic game to be played on original hardware with a broader lineup of Nintendo, Sega and other franchise fighters.
