Model Dandara Couto speaks out after disappearance in São Paulo

Model Dandara Couto, 27, has addressed her health following a three-day disappearance in the Pinheiros district of São Paulo earlier this month. In a video posted to Instagram, Couto expressed gratitude for the support received and stated she is currently being cared for by her family.

Couto noted that she is receiving professional specialized assistance and emphasized the importance of mental health, though she declined to provide specific details regarding the period she was missing. She stated, “Now I am well. (...) I am in the care of all my family, especially my mother.”

The model was last seen on October 5 while en route to a hair appointment. Following her disappearance, a social media mobilization involving various public figures helped facilitate the search. Couto was located on October 7. She works internationally between Brazil and Chile, having participated in São Paulo Fashion Week and worked with several global brands.
