The Canile Intercomunale di Modena will host the 'Un mondo a quattro zampe' event on Sunday, September 20, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The initiative aims to facilitate dog adoptions and raise awareness about animal welfare.

A highlight of the afternoon is the 'Adotta un amico' parade, scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM. The event will also include games and activities for children, as well as snacks.

Local official Francesca Maletti emphasized that the kennel provides a space for families to receive support and information to make informed adoption decisions. Unlike online platforms, the facility allows potential owners to understand the health, history, and character of the animals. The facility, managed by Cooperativa Caleidos and Gruppo Argo, currently houses approximately 100 dogs. All animals released from the kennel are microchipped, and female dogs are sterilized to help prevent abandonment and stray populations.
