Moderate Party proposes 5,000 SEK monthly boost for Swedish families

The Moderate Party has proposed a policy aimed at increasing the monthly disposable income of a typical two-child family by 5,000 SEK. This plan includes abolishing fees for preschool and after-school activities, which could provide up to 2,100 SEK per month in savings, particularly benefiting single parents and low-income households.

Additional measures proposed by the party include a tax reduction of up to 1,000 SEK per person for those who work, the introduction of a parental tax credit, and making public transport passes a tax-free benefit.

The party contrasts its vision with the platforms of the Social Democrats, Left Party, and Green Party, arguing that the latter's proposed tax increases on savings and property would hinder economic freedom and family stability.
