Modest Mouse performs on ‘An Eraser and A Maze’ tour

Indie rock band Modest Mouse is performing on their ‘An Eraser and A Maze’ tour, with recent stops including Grinders KC on September 23 and The Astro in Omaha, Nebraska, on September 25.

In Omaha, the band delivered a 21-song set featuring both classic tracks like ‘Float On’ and newer material such as ‘Picking Dragons’ Pockets.’ Lead vocalist and guitarist Isaac Brock utilized a banjo during parts of the performance. The show was supported by opening act Robber Robber, a post-punk band from Burlington, Vermont, led by vocalist Nina Cates.

The Kansas City performance at Grinders also featured Robber Robber, whose psychedelic post-punk sound was noted for its gritty energy and melodic complexity.
