Modica IGP Chocolate Gifted to Children in Termoli’s Disability Centres

The municipal administration of Termoli handed out 50‑gram bars of Modica IGP chocolate to children attending the “Un Mondo a Colori” and “San Damiano” disability centres. The donation, prepared by the Consorzio per la Tutela del Cioccolato di Modica IGP in collaboration with the Comune of Modica, marked the celebration of Termoli’s first pediatric “Bandiera Verde” award, a recognition it has maintained for fifteen consecutive years.

Silvana Ciciola, the city’s Environment Assessor, thanked Modica and the consortium, describing the chocolate as a “precious treat and a sweet surprise greatly appreciated by the centre users.” The event coincided with a national ceremony in Termoli handing out the Green Flag to 153 municipalities, underscoring the town’s ongoing commitment to child‑friendly services and environmental quality.
