Modified GTX 750 Ti with 8GB VRAM tested in modern games
A modified version of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, featuring 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM, has been tested by the YouTube channel RandomGaminginHD. Originally released in 2014 with a standard 2GB capacity, this unusual variant from vendor Xynsviu utilizes eight memory modules to quadruple the original VRAM.
In performance tests, the card was able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at the lowest settings using FSR 2.1, maintaining a frame rate of over 30 FPS. For lighter competitive titles such as CS2, Overwatch, and Fortnite, the GPU achieved approximately 60 FPS at 1080p resolution.
However, testing on more demanding titles revealed limitations. In Battlefield 6, the card averaged 35 FPS when settings were set to the lowest and resolution scaling was reduced to 50 percent. Despite the increased memory capacity, the aging GM107 chipset and 640 CUDA cores struggle with modern requirements, resulting in issues such as missing textures and delayed object loading.
