Modu Card users urged to update card info by Oct 26 for refunds

The Metropolitan Transport Commission of South Korea has urged Modu Card (K-Pass) users to update their card information by October 26 to ensure uninterrupted transportation fee refunds. This measure follows a system reorganization implemented after a supplementary budget, requiring that the card number registered in the Modu Card system matches the actual card being used to accurately track usage.

Users whose registered card numbers do not match their current cards must update their information via the Modu Card website or mobile app by midnight on the 26th. Failure to do so may result in issues receiving refunds for trips taken starting October 27.

A system maintenance period is scheduled from midnight to 10:00 AM on October 27, during which new registrations or card changes will be unavailable. However, public transportation usage and the accumulation of refund points will continue normally during this time.
