Modular housing in Spain and sports infrastructure development in Poland
In Vilamacolum, Spain, architect Clara Crous Fort has designed a unique modular home tailored to a triangular plot in the Alt Empordà region. The structure utilizes a prefabricated wooden skeleton to facilitate self-construction, a process timed to coincide with local agricultural cycles to utilize available labor. The design incorporates sustainable materials such as cork, clay, lime, and ceramics, alongside smart window shutter systems.
In Szczecin, Poland, construction has reached a new milestone for the KS Arkonia football club's new social and locker room facility. The project, part of a larger 30 million PLN stadium redevelopment, is expected to be completed by the second or third quarter of next year. The facility is intended to provide professional-grade amenities, including VIP areas and media spaces, to support the club's young athletes.
