MOGA Festival celebrates 10 years in Essaouira

The MOGA Festival will celebrate its tenth anniversary in Essaouira from September 30 to October 4. The anniversary edition features an expanded program consisting of 51 events and 30 activities, blending electronic music with culture, gastronomy, and wellness.

The festival is organized into three distinct segments. MOGA OFF, held on September 30 and October 1, offers free public programming including DJ sets, workshops, surf, and yoga across various city locations. MOGA IN, running from October 2 to October 4 at the Hotel Le Golf d’Essaouira & Spa, serves as the musical core with four dedicated stages.

International headliners such as Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, and ANOTR will perform alongside a strong Moroccan presence, with local artists making up nearly 70% of the lineup. A new professional component, MOGA PRO, will be introduced to support the industry through the MOGA Academy. Developed with the Association 4S and supported by the British Council, this initiative will offer training in cultural project management and professionalization for DJs and producers.
