Mogán announces sports subsidies and urban modernization plan

The municipality of Mogán has announced several local initiatives. The local government has allocated 48,000 euros in subsidies for 2026 to support sports clubs and individual athletes. The funding is divided into 18,000 euros for football entities, 18,000 euros for other sports clubs, and 12,000 euros for resident athletes to cover training and competition expenses.

Additionally, the modernization plan for Playa de Mogán has entered its third period of public exhibition. This urban development project, which has been in progress since 2018, aims to renovate public spaces, create new green zones, and improve pedestrian routes. The revised plan includes new urban agreements with INGESTURSA and Mogán Negocios, focusing on infrastructure adaptation and the renewal of tourist establishments through various incentives.
