Mohali Kings defeat Bathinda Royals to reach T20 semi-finals

The Mohali Kings secured a place in the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League semi-finals after a five-wicket victory over the Bathinda Royals at the I. S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

Batting first, the Bathinda Royals posted a total of 184/6. Despite an early collapse to 17/2, the Royals recovered through a 74-run partnership between Harnoor Singh (43) and Gourav Choudhary (35). Late contributions from Ridham Satyawan (31) and an unbeaten 38 from Shahbaz Sandhu helped the Royals reach their target. Ayush Goyal was the standout bowler for the Mohali Kings with figures of 2/27.

In response, the Mohali Kings faced early difficulties, falling to 4/2. However, Anmolpreet Singh (49) and Ramandeep Singh stabilized the innings with a 52-run partnership. Ramandeep Singh anchored the chase to ensure the Kings reached the required target and advanced in the tournament.
