Mohamed Ali Zoma receives praise after Italy debut

Mohamed Ali Zoma, a striker for the German second-division club 1. FC Nürnberg, received praise from coaching legend Fabio Capello following his debut for the Italian national team. Despite Italy's 0-2 home defeat against Belgium in the Nations League, Capello noted Zoma's positive impact when he was substituted on in the 79th minute at Rome's Olympic Stadium.

Capello told Gazzetta dello Sport that he appreciated Zoma's attempt to create play and his dribbling efforts on the left wing. However, the debut could not prevent the loss, which has caused frustration for the Italian squad under manager Roberto Mancini.

Zoma will not be part of the squad for the upcoming Nations League match in Turkey. Mancini has opted to rest ten players, including Zoma and Nicolò Barella, to avoid the strenuous travel and ensure they are fit for subsequent matches against France and Turkey.
