Mohamed Atef discusses forced loan from Zamalek

Mohamed Atef, a player currently on loan from Zamalek SC to Tala'ea El Gaish SC, has discussed the circumstances surrounding his departure from Zamalek. In recent statements, Atef claimed that his two-year loan deal was not his choice but was instead forced upon him by former Zamalek sporting director John Edward.

Atef expressed his desire to use his time at Tala'ea El Gaish to improve his performance and prove his value, with the ultimate goal of returning to the Zamalek squad. He noted that he faced criticism regarding his transfer to Zamalek before he had sufficient playing time to demonstrate his abilities.

While expressing satisfaction with his current environment at Tala'ea El Gaish and stating he feels no pressure, Atef confirmed that no officials from Zamalek have contacted him regarding a return. He also shared his ambition to play for the Egyptian national team, though he noted no contact from the national coaching staff has occurred yet.
