Mohamed Bayo joins Samsunspor from LOSC Lille

Guinean international striker Mohamed Bayo has completed a permanent transfer from French club LOSC Lille to Turkish side Samsunspor. The 28-year-old forward signed a contract lasting four years plus an option for a fifth year.

Bayo previously played in the Turkish Süper Lig on loan with Gaziantep FK last season, where he recorded 15 goals and 3 assists in 32 league matches. His move to Samsunspor follows confirmation from Lille president Olivier Létang that the player would not remain in the squad this season.

Standing 1.88 meters tall, Bayo developed through the Clermont Foot academy and has played for several European clubs, including Dunkerque, Le Havre, and Royal Antwerp. He is expected to provide physical presence and clinical finishing to the Samsunspor attacking line.
