Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative partners with World Economic Forum

The Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative and the World Economic Forum have signed a partnership agreement to advance water innovation and accelerate the deployment of practical solutions to address global water scarcity.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between technological solutions and the necessary policies, financing, and market demand required to scale them. By combining the Initiative’s focus on real-world deployment with the World Economic Forum’s ability to engage leaders across government, industry, and finance, the partnership seeks to bring essential water technologies to the markets and communities that need them most.

Through this agreement, the organizations will develop resources for knowledge sharing, support investments, and participate in major international water conferences to drive progress in innovation and implementation. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Vice-Chairman of The Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative, stated that the partnership is essential as water scarcity challenges grow with increasing implications for global economies and societies.
