OGC Nice nears deal for Mohamed Amoura from Wolfsburg

OGC Nice is nearing a deal to sign Algerian international striker Mohamed Amoura from VfL Wolfsburg. The transfer is expected to be a season-long loan featuring a non-obligatory purchase option estimated at approximately 20 million euros.

Nice secured Amoura after competing with interest from several other clubs, including Marseille, Udinese, Stade Rennais, and Olympique Lyonnais. The 26-year-old forward, known for his speed and clinical finishing, previously gained recognition at Union Saint-Gilloise and most recently recorded eight goals and three assists in 33 appearances for Wolfsburg.

In a separate move, OGC Nice has also completed the return of Elye Wahi. The 23-year-old Ivory Coast international joins the club on a season-long loan from Eintracht Frankfurt, a deal that also includes a purchase option.
