Mohamed Salah achieves rare UEFA scoring and assist record

Mohamed Salah has become only the third player to record both a goal and an assist in each of UEFA’s three major men’s club competitions: the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.

The 34-year-old Egyptian forward reached this milestone during Trabzonspor’s 4-2 victory over Finnish side KuPS in the opening match of the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League campaign. Salah provided an assist for Paul Onuachu in the third minute and scored a goal in the 44th minute.

Salah joins Cody Gakpo and Mario Götze as the only players to have achieved this specific combination of goals and assists across all three continental tournaments.
