Mohamed Salah shines at Trabzonspor amid driving ban

Mohamed Salah is making a significant impact at Trabzonspor, scoring seven goals in his first six matches. His recent performance included a hat-trick and an assist in a 4-0 victory against Galatasaray, marking the best scoring start for a player at the club in nine seasons. This success has sparked debate among former Liverpool fans, some of whom expressed regret over the club's decision to let him depart.

Off the pitch, Salah has faced legal consequences in England. A court in Warrington handed him a six-month driving ban and a fine totaling £1,044. The penalty resulted from his failure to identify the driver of his Rolls-Royce when the vehicle was caught speeding in Cheshire in March 2026.

Additionally, Salah's presence in Turkey has created a local tourism phenomenon. After he shared a photo of himself sitting on a rock at Kurtdere Yaylası, the location—now colloquially known as ‘Salah Yaylası’—has seen a surge in visitors seeking to replicate his pose, leading to the installation of a new sign at the site.
