Mohamed Salah draws praise for form and reveals passion for chess

Mohamed Salah, currently playing for Trabzonspor following his departure from Liverpool, has drawn attention both for his continued footballing form and his personal interests outside the sport.

Former teammate James Milner praised Salah’s enduring quality, noting that his performance has not diminished since leaving the English Premier League. Milner highlighted Salah’s recent statistics, including 8 goals and 4 assists in 8 matches, stating that ‘quality does not disappear overnight’ and emphasizing that his impact on defenders remains significant.

Beyond football, Salah revealed a passion for chess, noting that he plays online almost every day. He expressed a desire to play against world champion Magnus Carlsen, admitting that while he considers himself a good player, he believes no one has a chance of beating the Norwegian grandmaster.
