Mohamed Salah: Egyptian star's career, family and background

Mohamed Salah was born on 15 June 1992 in Nagrig, Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. An Egyptian national of Arab origin, he began his professional career with El Mokawloon before moving to Swiss side FC Basel. He later played for Chelsea, Fiorentina and AS Roma, and has become a key forward for Liverpool Football Club in the English Premier League, renowned for his speed, goal‑scoring and assists.

Salah is also a prominent figure for the Egypt national football team, often serving as captain and scoring crucial goals in African and World Cup qualifiers.
