Mohamed Salah sets Turkish Süper Lig record with Trabzonspor

Mohamed Salah has set a new Turkish Süper Lig record by recording 10 goal contributions in his first seven league matches for Trabzonspor. The 34-year-old Egyptian forward, who joined the club as a free agent following his departure from Liverpool, has tallied seven goals and three assists since the start of the campaign.

Salah reached this milestone during Trabzonspor’s 3-0 away victory against Samsunspor, where he provided an assist for Diego Francolino in the 40th minute. His recent form includes a notable hat-trick in a 4-0 win against defending champions Galatasaray. This achievement surpasses the pace set by Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, who recorded 10 goal contributions in his first eight appearances.

Under the management of Thomas Reis, Trabzonspor has also achieved a historic feat, scoring three goals in the first half of two consecutive matches for the first time since 1990. The club's strong offensive start has positioned them as significant contenders in the current title race.
