Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, 34, left Liverpool in June 2026 and has been linked with several clubs. Negotiations with Turkish side Beşiktaş collapsed after the club said it could not meet the agent‑fee and shirt‑sale revenue demands. Trabzonspor also made a two‑year offer worth €17 million per season, but its president Ertuğrul Doğan publicly denied any agreement.

Saudi Pro League club Al‑Ittihad has offered Salah an annual salary of $25 million (about £21 million) and reports say the player has accepted the deal. The contract is expected to be signed for the 2026/27 season, with a medical examination scheduled in Istanbul. Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas is involved in finalising the terms.

The transfer would see Salah move to Saudi Arabia after a high‑profile summer market, ending a period of speculation that also included interest from MLS clubs and other European teams.
