Trabzonspor president discusses Mohamed Salah transfer and club interests

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan has detailed the impact of Mohamed Salah’s transfer to the Turkish club. Doğan noted that the Egyptian forward has created immense excitement in Trabzon, stating that supporters are “sleeping and waking” to Salah’s name. The president emphasized that Salah’s arrival is a source of joy for the Islamic world and could serve as a bridge to strengthen relations between Egypt and Turkey.

Salah reportedly expressed satisfaction with the move after being greeted by over 25,000 fans at the airport, telling club officials he found the atmosphere he was looking for.

In related transfer activity, Trabzonspor is also reportedly interested in Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam. The Turkish side faces competition from several English clubs, including Hull City, Coventry City, and Ipswich Town, for the player's signature.
