Mohamed Sherif joins Al-Zawraa on loan from Al Ahly

Mohamed Sherif, a striker for the Egyptian club Al Ahly, has officially joined the Iraqi club Al-Zawraa on a one-season loan deal. The transfer was finalized during the current summer transfer window after all terms were agreed upon.

The move comes as Sherif seeks more consistent playing time and a chance to regain his scoring form, following a period where his opportunities with Al Ahly's coaching staff had diminished. This marks Sherif's second professional experience outside of Egypt, having previously played for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Khaleej for two seasons.

Sherif is expected to begin preparations with Al-Zawraa shortly in anticipation of the upcoming season. Upon the conclusion of his one-year loan, he is scheduled to return to Al Ahly.
