Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf honors Hassan Nasrallah's legacy
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, issued a message commemorating the second anniversary of the death of Hassan Nasrallah, the former leader of Hezbollah. Ghalibaf characterized Nasrallah as a strategist and field commander who transformed the resistance from an unorganized armed group into a ‘deterrence doctrine.’
Ghalibaf stated that Nasrallah’s understanding of regional geopolitics allowed Hezbollah to reach a level that fundamentally altered security equations for Israel. He emphasized that Nasrallah viewed Lebanon, Iran, and Palestine as interconnected parts of a single historical responsibility against occupation.
The Iranian official further noted that while enemies believed targeting Nasrallah would halt the resistance, he had established a cohesive and stable structure that does not depend on a single individual and maintains its deterrent capabilities today.
