Mohammad Ghorbani reveals blocked moves to Persepolis and Tractor

Iranian midfielder Mohammad Ghorbani has revealed that negotiations to return to the Iranian Premier League with Persepolis and Tractor SC were blocked by his current club, Al Wahda.

Ghorbani stated that Al Wahda officials were unwilling to facilitate his departure due to his importance to the squad and the club's upcoming Asian competitions. To prevent a transfer, the Emirati club reportedly demanded release fees fluctuating between one and two million euros, a figure Ghorbani believes was set specifically to make a move difficult.

While Ghorbani remains focused on his current contract with Al Wahda, he has not ruled out the possibility of returning to the Iranian league during the mid-season transfer window, though no definitive decision has been made.
