Mohammad Reza Aref discusses wartime readiness and social capital

Mohammad Reza Aref, Iran's First Vice President, addressed political activists and religious scholars in Qom, emphasizing the importance of preserving the nation's social capital. He stated that the current administration was prepared from its inception to manage the country under wartime conditions, citing direct confrontations and conflicts imposed by the United States and Israel.

Aref noted that the government had developed specific plans to govern during various conflict scenarios, including a 12-day war and the Ramadan war. He credited the resilience and presence of the Iranian people as the primary defense against foreign conspiracies and attempts to undermine the system through economic and livelihood issues.

Regarding domestic social cohesion, Aref stressed the need for effective dialogue with the public, particularly the younger generation. He argued that traditional communication methods used in previous decades are no longer effective for today's youth and that the government must find new, appropriate ways to engage with them to maintain social stability.
