Mohammed Chouki defends Aziz Akhannouch against political targeting
Mohammed Chouki, president of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), has defended Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch against what he describes as continuous campaigns of personal and professional targeting. During a party meeting in the Azilal province, Chouki stated that Akhannouch has faced repeated attacks aimed at undermining his work and reputation throughout his government mandate.
Chouki reported that he is now experiencing similar targeting methods, which he characterized as deceptive and unpolitical. He emphasized that such attempts will not deter the party from its chosen path or its program. He asserted that the RNI remains committed to its goals, relying on the trust built with Moroccan citizens through seriousness and tangible results.
Defending the government's record, Chouki noted that the administration has managed responsibilities during an exceptional period marked by various crises. He maintained that the government has focused on implementing social and economic reforms and maintaining proximity to citizens rather than responding to criticism or retreating from its commitments.
