Mohammed Kaif claims Virat Kohli's presence could have changed India's Test result

Former cricketer Mohammed Kaif has suggested that India could have secured a victory in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo if Virat Kohli had been part of the squad.

Following the match, which ended in a draw, Kaif noted that the team's energy levels appeared low on the final day. He argued that Kohli’s presence would have maintained the team's intensity and kept players focused, particularly during the period when Sri Lanka's Sonal Dinusha scored 133 not out to secure a lead.

Kaif observed that the Indian side seemed to take certain aspects of the game for granted, specifically regarding the effectiveness of the turning ball, and suggested that Kohli would have actively pushed the team to create more opportunities rather than waiting for wickets to fall naturally.
