Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar omitted from India squad

The exclusion of experienced pacers Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar from India’s squad for the upcoming series against the West Indies has sparked debate regarding their international futures. Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s last international appearance was in November 2022, though he recently showed strong form in the IPL. Mohammed Shami, a key figure in India’s 2023 ODI World Cup campaign, has recently reached a milestone by playing his 100th first-class match in the Duleep Trophy.
