Mohammed Siraj named Hyderabad captain for Ranji Trophy opener

The Hyderabad Cricket Association has announced that Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj will captain the Hyderabad team for the first two matches of the upcoming 2026-27 Ranji Trophy season. C. V. Milind has been appointed as the vice-captain.

Hyderabad is placed in Group B and is scheduled to open its season against Tripura from October 11 to 14. The second match will take place against Andhra from October 18 to 21.

The 15-member squad features experienced players including Tanmay Agarwal, Rahul Singh, and wicketkeeper-batsmen Rahul Radesh and Sai Pragnay Reddy. Other squad members include Tanay Thyagarajan, Aniketh Reddy, and Ajay Dev Goud.
