Mohan Yadav calls for collective preparation for Simhastha-2028

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has called for collective participation from the government, administration, religious organizations, and social groups to prepare for the Simhastha-2028 religious gathering in Ujjain.

During a ceremony marking Jagdish Agrawal’s appointment as chairman of the Simhastha Mela Authority, Yadav noted that various citizens and religious groups have already contributed land and resources. He stated that the government will support farmers who develop facilities such as schools, hospitals, and hostels on their land to assist with the festival's infrastructure.

Development projects aim to improve organization and facilities for the millions of pilgrims and saints expected to attend. Preparations are being conducted under the guidance of religious leaders to minimize inconvenience for devotees.
