Mohan Yadav launches Urban Growth Conclave 2.0 in Indore
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is inaugurating the Urban Growth Conclave 2.0 at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. The event focuses on accelerating urban development, encouraging infrastructure investment, and utilizing modern technology to enhance city living standards across the state.
A key objective of the conclave is to promote the development of Tier-2 cities through discussions on urban redevelopment, master planning, and development corridors. The state government is also prioritizing digital governance, including automated building permit approvals, online NOCs, and GIS-based planning to improve the ease of doing business.
Environmental sustainability and water security are central themes. Sessions will address climate-resilient cities, urban water management, waste-to-energy projects, and the expansion of the compressed biogas (CBG) ecosystem. Additionally, the Chief Minister will participate in one-on-one meetings with investors and industry leaders to explore collaborative opportunities for urban projects.
During the event, the Chief Minister is scheduled to perform the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremonies for various urban development projects. These include housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), sewerage systems, water supply works, and compressed biogas plants.
