Mohan Yadav performs Shastra Pujan and launches police app in Indore
On the occasion of Vijayadashami, the Madhya Pradesh government organized Shastra Pujan (weapon worship) ceremonies across the state. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in the rituals in Indore, praying for the peace and security of the state.
During the event in Indore, Chief Minister Yadav also provided new resources to the local police force. He launched the ‘Police Setu App’ to strengthen law enforcement through technology and handed over 50 high-tech 350cc motorcycles to enhance patrolling capabilities. These vehicles, funded through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, are equipped with sirens, specialized lights, and modern announcement systems to assist in navigating crowded areas.
Other prominent state leaders also participated in regional ceremonies: Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar attended the rituals in Gwalior, and Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda participated in the official program in Mandsaur. The ceremonies follow the traditional significance of Vijayadashami, symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
