Mohan Yadav reviews flood relief operations in Rewa

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav arrived in Rewa from New Delhi to review relief operations following heavy rainfall and flooding. During his visit, he met with local officials, including collectors and superintendents of police from the Rewa, Shahdol, and Jabalpur divisions, to assess the impact of the extreme weather.

The Chief Minister inspected waterlogged areas in Gulab Nagar and issued several directives to ensure effective disaster management. He ordered the proper operation of relief camps, emphasizing the need for adequate food, drinking water, and medical facilities. To prevent the spread of diseases, he instructed officials to chlorinate water sources and organize special medical camps in flood-affected villages and urban wards.

Additionally, the Chief Minister directed authorities to restore electricity in affected areas, conduct immediate surveys of crop damage, and provide seeds to farmers if early-stage crops were destroyed. He also called for veterinary services to assist livestock in flooded regions and instructed that any animal deaths be handled through scientific disposal methods to prevent epidemics.
