Mohawk Industries Posts Strong Q2 2026 Earnings, Beats Forecasts
Mohawk Industries reported adjusted earnings of $3.67 per share for the second quarter of 2026, surpassing the consensus estimate of $2.58. Revenue reached roughly $3.0 billion, also above analysts' expectations. The company cited volume growth, pricing actions, a better product mix and productivity gains that offset inflationary pressures. Adjusted gross margin rose to 27.4%, a 100‑basis‑point increase year‑over‑year, and operating income improved to $290 million. Tariff refunds contributed about $0.63 per share to earnings, and the firm repurchased more than 600,000 shares for about $60 million during the quarter. Management reaffirmed its outlook, raising Q3 2026 EPS guidance to a range of $2.38‑$2.48. The stock climbed over 5% after the release, trading around $119.47.
