Mohra to return to Indian theaters on November 6
The 1994 action thriller ‘Mohra’, starring Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, and Suniel Shetty, is scheduled for a theatrical re-release on November 6, 2026. Trimurti Films and Rimpy Films International announced the return of the cult classic during the Diwali season, with the re-release expected to be presented in a 4K remastered version.
The film’s return to cinemas coincides with the release of ‘Ramayana’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash. In some locations, such as Agra’s Heera Talkies, the theater has opted to screen four daily shows of ‘Mohra’ instead of ‘Ramayana’.
Originally released in July 1994 and directed by Rajiv Rai, ‘Mohra’ was one of the highest-grossing Indian films of its year. The film features an ensemble cast including Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal, and Gulshan Grover, and is noted for its soundtrack by Viju Shah.
