MOHU launches residential portal for online waste bill management

MOHU has launched its Residential Portal, allowing Hungarian households to track and pay waste management bills online. As part of the rollout, the company is offering a one-time 1,000 HUF discount to users who register on the portal and switch to electronic invoicing by November 30.

To claim the discount, users must log in or register, select the “Add usage location” option, choose “I request an electronic invoice,” and provide their buyer ID and invoice serial number. The credit is applied automatically to the online bill.

The digital launch coincides with a government announcement regarding a full review of the national waste management system. Following numerous complaints, Péter Magyar stated that the current system is not meeting contractual obligations or targets. MOHU has expressed agreement with the need for a review to ensure the concession system meets its objectives.
