Moise Kean joins Como from Fiorentina in 40 million euro deal

Moise Kean has officially joined Como from Fiorentina in a deal worth approximately 40 million euros. The transfer, finalized during the final hours of the summer window, consists of an initial loan fee of 5 million euros, a 30 million euro obligation to purchase, and an additional 5 million euros in performance-based bonuses.

Kean, a 26-year-old Italian international, arrives at Como following a prolific period at Fiorentina, where he scored 19 goals in the 2024/25 Serie A season. In a farewell message to Florence, Kean expressed gratitude to the fans while addressing recent tensions, stating, “I do not accept that anyone puts me against the people I love, starting with my fans and my teammates.”

Como manager Cesc Fabregas praised the signing, noting Kean’s physical strength, speed, and attacking capabilities. This marks the ninth major signing for Como this summer as the club seeks to compete at the highest levels of Italian and European football.
