Moise Kouame advances to face Lorenzo Musetti at Lyon Open

French teenager Moise Kouame has secured a spot in the second round of the Lyon Open after defeating Lorenzo Sonego 7-6(2), 6-4. Kouame, a wildcard entry, utilized strong athleticism and decisive play in extended rallies to overcome the veteran in a match lasting one hour and 52 minutes.

Kouame will next face the sixth seed, Lorenzo Musetti, in the round of 16. Musetti advanced to this stage after a 6-1, 6-4 victory over compatriot Matteo Arnaldi. Musetti, who has dealt with recurring injuries this season, enters the match looking to build momentum following his opening-round win.
