Moise Kouame wins first ATP Challenger title in Brest
Seventeen-year-old French tennis player Moise Kouame secured his first career ATP Challenger title in Brest on Sunday. In a match lasting nearly two and a half hours, Kouame defeated Martin Damm with a score of 6-4, 6-7(5), 7-6(4).
This victory marks a significant milestone for the young athlete, who began the year outside the top 800 and is now set to rise to 132nd in the world rankings. Kouame, who is coached by Richard Gasquet, has secured four titles on the professional circuit this season.
Following this achievement, Kouame is scheduled to make his debut in the main draw of the Rolex Paris Masters. He is slated to face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the world number 15 and recent Shanghai Masters champion, in the first round.
